Alain is our Head of Brewing (although he wears the title lightly). It's his imagination that creates the recipes for our beers. He's committed to getting the flavour right. His mantra is: "It's all in the detail." He's a keen biker and when he's not brewing, you'll find him riding in the glorious Cumbrian countryside.

Favourite Beer: All of them. The more flavour the better.
